Kindle Scribe Gets an AI Upgrade
The "Send to Alexa+" feature, announced last fall when the Kindle Scribe Colorsoft was first revealed, is now rolling out [1]. This feature lets you share your notebooks and documents from your Kindle Scribe with Alexa [2]. As the name suggests, the integration makes your information accessible on other Amazon platforms, including Alexa.com and the Alexa app.
Prime members and Alexa+ subscribers will also be able to reach their Kindle documents on Echo and Fire TV devices. This means you can ask Alexa to read your notes aloud or display your to-do list on your TV [3].
Alexa's New Skills
With "Send to Alexa+," the AI assistant gains the ability to perform tasks based on your Kindle content. Alexa can summarize notes, create to-do lists, and add calendar items or reminders. This could be useful for anything from summarizing meeting notes to setting reminders based on action items you've jotted down [1].
